DTLA x New Life Sounds x HOT “THICC BEATS Rooftop Party” DJ Mix Competition

Up-and-coming DJs listen up: Deep Tech Los Angeles , New Life Sounds , and House of Tronika are teaming up to host a special DJ Mix competition where the winner will win a spot on our lineup to perform at our Miami Music Week Event March 20th, 2024 at THICC BEATS ROOFTOP Party at C-LEVEL Clevelander Hotel.

The fourteen hour marathon of house music begins at Noon at The Clevelander South Beach Hotel 1020 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, Florida 33139 to 2AM.

You can submit a mix to have a chance to play this legendary event and join our wild a lineup and join the lineup with acts such as DONT BLINK, LUCATI, GAWP and More..

TO ENTER:

  1. Record a 30–35 minute mix in line with the sounds of Deep Tech Los Angeles Records.

  2. Upload the mix to your Soundcloud profile. The mix title should be: THICC BEATS ROOFTOP PARTY DJ MIX COMPETITION: YOUR DJ NAME.

  3. Must Use DTLA x New Life Sounds Event artwork as a thumbnail (available below).

  5. Must add full track listing, email address and social media accounts in the mix description.

  6. Share the mix on your social media channels to your stories & feed, tagging @deeptechla , @newlifesounds. When posting, use the assets available to download via the button below.

NOTE: Competition starts February 19th and ends March 11th at 10PM PST. Winner will be announced March 13th.

JUDGING PROCESS

Mixes will be evaluated based on 3 key factors: song selection, mixing skills, and expert evaluations from our panel of judges. The judging process will be completed, winner announced on March 13th, 2024 

Winner(s) will receives one slot on lineup.

ADDITIONAL RULES

·       One entry per DJ.

·       You must be 21+.

·       You must follow the rules above, any deviation you will forfeit your entry.

·       You must be available March 20th, 2024 from 11:30AM to 1:30PM EST for DTLA x New Life Sounds at C-LEVEL Rooftop Clevelander Hotel located at 1020 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, Florida 33139.
