DTLA x Purple Tea Records ADE Label Showcase DJ Mix Competition

Up-and-coming DJs listen up: Deep Tech Los Angeles and Purple Tea Records are coming together to host a special DJ contest where the winner will perform at our label showcase at Amsterdam Dance Event October 20th, 2023.

Early Afternoon Friday , October 20th, join us in Amsterdam at 50:HERTZ House & Techno Cafe Rembrandt Square | Halvemaansteeg 14, Amsterdam

You could have a chance to play this legendary event and join our wild a lineup.

TO ENTER:

  1. Record a 30–35 minute mix in line with the sounds of Deep Tech Los Angeles/Purple Tea Records.

  2. Upload the mix to your Soundcloud profile. The mix title should be: DTLA x Purple Tea Records ADE Label Showcase Event DJ MIX COMPETITION: YOUR DJ NAME.

  3. Must Use DTLA x Purple Tea Records ADE Label Showcase Event artwork as a thumbnail (available below).

  4. Add the following hashtags #DTLAPTRDJMIXCOMPETITION #ADE2023

  5. Add full track listing, email address and social media accounts in the mix description.

  6. Share the mix on your social media channels to your stories & feed, tagging @deeptechla , @purpletearecs. When posting, use the assets available to download via the button below.

NOTE: Competition starts Week of October 2nd and ends October 15th at 10PM GMT. Winner will be announced October 16th.

  JUDGING PROCESS

Mixes will be evaluated based on 3 key factors: song selection, mixing skills, and expert evaluations from our panel of judges. The judging process will be completed, winner announced on October 16th, 2023.  

Winner receives one slot on lineup along with recorded set which will be rebroadcasted on DTLA & Elevated Radio.  Elevated Radio has 2.4 million listeners on 19 stations in 8 countries including cafe mambo radio, select, data transmission, Radio FG, France, Mix 93 Ultra (Los Angeles).

ADDITIONAL RULES

·       One entry per DJ.

·       You must be 21+.

·       You must follow the rules above, any deviation you will forfeit your entry.

·       You must be available on Friday October 20th at 11AM to 1PM GMT for DTLA x Purple Tea Records ADE Label Showcase Event at Bar Lunar in Amsterdam: Halvemaansteeg 14, 1017 CR Amsterdam, Netherlands
